Started as Mid-Hudson Air Lines, an FBO in 1951. Name changed to Command Airways in 1966. In 1986, became the 1st commuter as part of American Eagle. In 1988 American incorporated most of its wholly owned commuters as Flagship Air dba as American Eagle.
